Ordinex Orders Enters Private Beta

April 5, 2026

Today we open private beta for Ordinex Orders, the second module of the platform.

What Orders solves

Scout helps you decide what to source. Orders helps you manage what you ordered, where it is, and what it costs.

Right now, after filtering a batch in Scout and building a shortlist, most shop owners switch to:

  • Zalo to contact suppliers
  • Excel to track orders
  • Google Sheets to calculate shipment costs
  • Memory or a note app to remember which orders are pending and which have deposits placed

Nothing connects to anything else. No history. No consolidated numbers at the end of the month.

Orders replaces all of that.

What the first beta version includes

Create purchase orders from your Scout shortlist

After filtering a batch, you can push your shortlist directly into Orders with a single action. Product details, supplier info, and purchase price are pre-filled. You only need to confirm quantities.

Track order status

Each purchase order moves through stages: Requested, Confirmed, In Production, Shipped, Received. You update the status as new information comes in from the supplier.

Open Orders at any time and you immediately see how many orders sit at each stage.

Calculate shipment costs

When a shipment includes multiple SKUs from multiple suppliers consolidated into a single freight run, Orders automatically splits shipping costs by weight or unit count, updating the landed cost for each SKU.

Supplier order history

Each supplier has a dedicated page in Orders that aggregates the full history: number of shipments placed, on-time delivery rate, quality issue frequency. No guessing. The data is there when you need to decide whether to reorder.

What is not in v0.4

  • Payment integration: Not yet. You still pay through your current channels and log it in Orders.
  • Automated reminders: No delivery or payment schedule alerts yet.
  • Consolidated reports: Under construction. Coming in subsequent updates.

We chose to ship early with the core functionality instead of waiting for everything to be complete. Real beta users will tell us what to prioritize next.

Who is in the Orders beta

The Orders beta is currently open only to existing Scout users. The reason is straightforward: the Scout to Orders loop only delivers value if you are actively using both.

If you are using Scout and want to join the Orders beta, reach out to thinh@ordinex.io. We are opening access gradually.

If you have not used Scout and want to start from scratch, request access here.
